Michael Keaton fits the caped crusader to a T. He's my all time fave Batman. My fave part was seeing the batmobile (my dream car!) being vamped up in style, looks way better than having it in purple...Yuckz!
I remember being all psyched up and excited once I've heard that Jolie was casted as Lara. They couldn't have chosen anyone else better than her. The character's like made for her.
I remember laughing throughout the whole movie & my friend warning others not to catch any comedy with me unless they wanna risk being embarrassed by my laughing the whole time. Well, I say shame on her. What's the point of watching any comedy when you need to restrain yourself the pleasure of being tickled plain silly!! That being said, watch it with me at your own risk!
Beautifully written & done. As the story & characters unfolds, you felt like you were there with them every step of the way. Tortured heroine triumphs through obstacles & finding peace with herself in the end is my kinda thing. I just need to watch this once and it has stuck in my mind since.
Made me notice Cillian Murphy. WOW, he is a great villain in your regular but multi-layered freaky baddie sorta way. Made me stopped talking to strangers for a while.
It's great fun to watch Megatron & Bumblebee coming to life but shame about the soundtrack though. I was waiting for the original theme song to come out but it didn't. So I had to accommodate & sing it myself instead... "Transformers, more than meets the eyes...transformers, robots in disguise..."
I've been waiting for it to show at my local cinema since seeing the trailer but the day never came. So I've waited for it to come out in DVD & saw it with my sis. We both fell in love with it. Great direction, edit & stellar performances by the actors. Diane Kruger surely redeemed herself after an awful performance in 'Troy' as Helen of Troy.
Rockin', brilliantly AWESOME!!! Ledger outshines all the other A listers in this movie with his really in-depth portrayal as Batman's all time arch nemesis, the Joker. He had it down to the very last detail in bringing the villain to life & believable. As for Bale, he & Keaton will be the only ones remembered as the ultimate Batmans. Shame about Oldman though, such a restrictive role for a volatile/talented actor such as he. p.s. I saw Edison Chen's very split second cameo!! Look out for it =)
Whohoo... Damn! This is one fine saucy movie. I read that Rene Russo hired a sex therapist to coach on her body language & I can say her lessons had surely paid off. Though this is a remake of the 1968 movie of the same title, they sure made it worth while.
Really nice plot & cinematography. Loved it to bits. Funny how I've heard of some people saying that they don't get it coz plot's too confusing? GET a grip!
Jolie always rocks my boat ;) WOW, talk about chemistry! I think their's just blew up the lab & the studio as well... Sorry Jen, I knew you would have to move when I saw this movie & yes, I rooted for her. Tough luck.
The whole plot & story line blew me away in so many pieces I don't know where to pick em back up! Josh has really come a long way from his 40 Days and 40 Nights.
It'll get another 1 1/2 stars once I've seen it on DVD. Robert Downey Jr. ROCKS as Tony Stark, can't imagine anyone else to play the character. Can't wait for the sequel!
Scarlett was a very inspiring character indeed! I've started watching this movie ever since I was about 8 or 9 years old & still I don't seem to get sick of it any day by now. Oh, and may I add... My dear, dear, Dear Clark Gable. I blame you for my high taste in men. Ever since I've laid my eyes on you, I can't put out the idea that such a man of god-like proportion actually existed!!
Not to be mistaken with the 2006 movie with the same title which has ditzy Jessica Simpson in it. I've always enjoyed a movie with a lot of twists & turns along with multiple plots in 'em. A great black comedy in its own right. Do watch out for the scene where Steve Zahn explains the science of sex to Matt Dillon & where he faced off with a gay friend. Real good stuff! I couldn't stop cracking up. Really a gem for movie junkies like myself. Not to be missed.
