My Favorite Movies

The greatest comedy ever made.
Jeff bridges and John goodman and Steve buscemi make up the iconic trio in this noiresque story about a dude who gets into a few strange situations. I have never seen acting as funny as this and i dont think i ever will.

This is one of my top 3 favourite movies of all time, I walked into the cinema late, and struggled to piece it together in my first viewing. Since then i've rewatched this over and over. Remarkable editing, which completely submerges you in the lead characters short term memory loss world. If you like to think, or just need to, watch this movie again and again

I wanted to see this movie since I saw the title. But they could have called the movie Spongebob Squarepants 2 and it still would have kicked ass. Its a well rounded movie, with good action, a resolving storyline with twists and gore.
Just see it, it exudes class.

Awesome rotoscoping animation, and a killer soundtrack make this movie really stand out. The plot is well crafted existential nonsense, but the recurring theme of lucid dreaming and the fantastic direction of Linklater make this one of my favourites

Pure class, why cant there be more movies like this?

Brilliant move about anything but happiness.
Phillip Seymour Hoffman is great, as are the rest of the cast. Darkly funny, quite disturbing but overall very enjoyable.
I'd recommend this to almost anyone.

Excellent comedy, good on screen chemistry. Ned Nederlander was my hero. El Guapo is the funniest character.

A Great feel good movie about a washed out rocker posing as a substitute teacher and inspiring kids to start a rock band.

Low budget, witty dialogue. The best kevin smith movie by a long shot in my opinion.

Terrible movie in every regard, only rated it highly (ie 1 star) cause the recent release with the guy from Mystery Science Theater doing the commentary makes it worth it.

Awesome drug movie, witty and well shot, with facken funny scenes that made me want to pop a pill

I think this is my favourite python film, they're all good but this one has so many brilliant stand alone scenes.. the penis song, every sperm is sacred and the salmon mousse spring to mind. I guess i'd recommend this one as a starting point for new pythoneers.
