Donnie Darko 2001, R)
Brilliant Movie. You'll almost definately not understand it the first time you watch it though. In fact, its pretty difficult to understand no matter how many times you watch it, but if you find a way to read some of the things that are in the book featured in the movie (philosophy of time travel) (and yes, there are a few ways...online, special edition DVD's etc) then you'll probably be able to understand everything. |

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King 2003, PG-13)
May possibly be the greatest movie ever made. Although really, i think like the books you have to look at all three movies as one, and in that case, it's definately the best movie ever made. This is just a brilliant ending to the trilogy. It's a shame they couldn't quite finish it the way the book does, but it probably wouldn't have worked well in movie format anyway. In any case, i stand by my claim of best movie ever (when viewed with the other two) |
