Haunting

An absolutely fantastic adaptation of the book by Bryce Courtenay. Not as great, but a great interpretation. It'll make you smile, it'll make you cry and it'll make you want to be sick as you realize the severity of the situation that the South Africans went through. At the end of it all, you'll be forced to reflect what kind of person you are and see that your life is perhaps much much greater than what they had to suffer in such crude racism.

The movie follows a young English boy, P.K. It sees him as a child fighting for a place to stand as the only English boy in a school for Afrikaaners and sees him befriending black people. He is given the name, the 'Rainmaker' as he has no prejudice in him, as his aim is to see the African people being equally treated.

A must see. Absolutely brilliant.

This is a beautiful story, it will make you cry. This was the first movie that these three girls acted in. The story follows the journey of three half-caste girls who were taken from their parents into a Missionaries school and they're journey back home. It's a heart felt movie based on true events. Really great movie.

I lovvvvvvvve this movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG, it's absolutely beautiful. Channing Tatum and the chick (Jenna ....) were absolutely brilliant WITHOUT A DOUBT!!!! If you enjoy dancing, this is definitely the movie for you. It's absolutely brilliant. Without a doubt!!!~ And the plot gets tense towards the end. Wow... simply amazing. Channing Tatum was hot... so hot he almost reaches Vin Diesel HOT ;)

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie... yes, it has some clichéd elements to it, but it's also very unique, fun, enjoyable and very sweet. Julia Stiles' acting was very good, as usual, similar to that of '10 Things I Hate About You' - very convincing. Although I hadn't heard of Luke Mably until this movie, his acting was brilliant and very comical. I loved this movie!!! :D

It's harsh. Full of action. Keeps you on your toes. Amazing, gripping, freaky. Really good all the same.

Very well acted. Based on Sylvia Plath's life. Allows you to experience what she did and to learn more about her you may not have done. It would also help if you had previously read her biography and a couple of her poems like Ariel, Lady Lazarus, Mushrooms, etc.

I didn't really like the ending, but the movie is very informing in it's own way and it's a very clever movie. Not only does it deal with the destructive nature of us human beings, but it also deals with the stereotypical nature we tend to judge people by. I lovvved it!!! :D

Touching. A must see. It has a brilliant plot which I simply loved.

This movie was pretty amazing. Completely stunned me. Charlize Theron was impressive, the movie in general was impressive. About an orphan, different from the rest, who ends up learning to become a doctor when he never gets adopted and moves to the countryside for a girl. There's a twist. It's absolutely amazing.

rather confusing and i only got the ending in the second sitting... the game is rather sick at one point... but the movie was absolutely brilliantly directed and acted out... it's like a thriller, but at the same time, it's comical in a rather sick sense and romantic...

Dayyyyam... this movie was good. Honestly brilliant. The plot, the actors and the whole irony of race and life and how they play such a big role. Profound. Brilliant.

I'm generally not a very big fan of vampire movies, but this was absolutely amazing...!!! Absolutely adored it. Could watch it over several times. Beautiful. Sweet. And not cliched. Really nice.

Truly one of my favourite movies and I've just watched it once (so far). Talk about HILARIOUS! This one really is. The Chopra-Bachchan-Abraham trio is really quite a trio, really funny, really good, really bollywood. Very niiice! :)
