Reservoir Dogs 1992,  R)
Reservoir Dogs
"I don`t tip." Hahaha, Steve Buscemi rocks! This is one of my favorite movies of all time. Quentin Tarantino did a excelent job, directing, writing and also, the soundtrack that he chose was great. Brilliant.
2
GoodFellas 1990,  R)
GoodFellas
Awesome!!!
Joe Pesci is the perfect gangster. Great story. Martin Scorsese should have won an Oscar for this. Great movie.
3
Clerks 1994,  R)
Clerks
"Why did you have to suck that dick? Why couldn't you sleep with them like a decent person? " Hahahahahaha. Very good modern comedy. One of the funniest movies from the 90's. It's Kevin Smith's best movie. Smith's raunchy sense of humor fits perfectly into this setting. This film also shows why most convenience stores have NO public restrooms. This is one of the wildest, most uproarious, darkly comic scenes ever. Lastly, Clerks provides some keen insights, especially on the difficulties of finding oneself. It's also the movie that the legendary characters, Jay and Silent Bob appeared for the first time.
4
The People Vs. Larry Flynt 1996,  R)
The People Vs. Larry Flynt
Woody Harrelson is the man! Courtney Love is so sexy, it seems like she plays herself in this movie. Edward Norton is also good. The story is brilliant. It is a movie that takes place most of the time in a court, but still is sort of a Larry Flynt's biography. A "must-see."
5
Pulp Fiction 1994,  R)
Pulp Fiction
"Does he look like a bitch?"
"WHAT?!"
hahaha
One of the best movies I have ever seen. All the actors did such a perfect job in this movie. The part where Samuel L. Jackson recites the Bible before he kills that guy was amazing. The plot was excellent. It can be a little hard to follow in the first time though. This movie puts Quentin Tarantino in the list of the best American directors nowadays. Outstanding movie!
6
The Silence of the Lambs 1991,  R)
The Silence of the Lambs
Simply the best thriller ever. Jodie Foster an Anthony Hopkins were perfect together. Very bizarre story, but good. One of my favorite movies ever. I loved how Hopkins' character tries to analyze the dectetive while actually she was the one to be asking all the questions. A real "must-see!"
7
Fargo 1996,  R)
Fargo
One of my favorite movies. Excellent plot. I think it is the best thing ever done by the Coen Brothers. Frances McDormand, William H. Macy and Steve Buscemi are simply incredible. Even the accents sound great. This movie is so much like real life in the situations with a remarkable twist at the end that i just love it. Very strong violence like a lot of the Coen brother's other films.
8
Mississippi Burning 1988,  R)
Mississippi Burning
Outstanding! Great movie about racism issues in the state of Mississippi. The cast worked well and the story was amazing. It's a really sad and shocking movie, but still a "must seeing" movie. It's one of those movies that make you stop and think about it.
9
Forrest Gump 1994,  PG-13)
Forrest Gump
One of the best romantic comedies I've ever seen. Amanzig to see the American history told in Forrest Gump's life. Tom Hanks and Gary Sinise were great. The story was good and the soundtrack with the cinematography were even better. One of the best movies from the 90's.
10

12
Casino 1995,  R)
Casino
Awesome gangster movie. Brilliant. The three main actors ( Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci and Sharon Stone) did a terrific job. Joe Pesci is the perfect gangster. hehehe. The directing by Martin Scorsese was also great. Hard to say which is better between this movie and "GoodFellas." Very good.
13
Dog Day Afternoon 1975,  R)
Dog Day Afternoon
Outstanding! One of the best movies with Al Pacino. The story was just fantastic. The performances of Al Pacino and John Cazale were flawless. Funny, if you think that it is based on true events. Some things were very funny. Really good movie.
14
Life Is Beautiful (La Vita è bella) 1997,  PG-13)
Life Is Beautiful (La Vita è bella)
Oh My GOD! This was one of the best movies ever made. Roberto Benigni can be considered a new kind of "Charlie Chaplin" with this toching movie. He takes one of the saddest episodes of world history, and shows it in a beautiful and entertaining way. Many scenes were funny and Benigni also shows a little bit of hope for his son during the Holocaust. A real "must-see" movie.
15
Die Hard 1988,  R)
Die Hard
This is my favortie action movie. Bruce Willis was perfect in this movie and the story was also good. Much better than the action movies nowadays with so many especial effects. Yippee-ki-yay motherfucker!
16
Requiem for a Dream 2000,  R)
Requiem for a Dream
One of the best movies about drugs. Sara goldfarb is an awesome actress. I didn't know Jennifer Connelly before this movie, but i thought she was amazing. Jared Leto had an excellent performance too. 17
V for Vendetta 2006,  R)
V for Vendetta
Perfect! One of the best movies inspired in a comic book ever. Natalie Portman is beautiful even with no hair and Hugo Weaving made a awesome job playing the "terrorist." Great plot with awesome action scenes.
18
Run Lola Run (Lola rennt) 1998,  R)
Run Lola Run (Lola rennt)
This movie was so good! Franka Potente and Moritz Bleibtreu were excellent. It was amazing how everything was fast and full of energy. It can possess the viewer since the first minute to the end. Run Lola Run is a great high-energy action film, which was excellently directed and produced. The music is part of the method used by the director to get your adrenaline going as high as Lola's. Run Lola Run show how a single action, no matter how small it may be, can change the outcome of others around us. Where there is a problem that needs a solution, this film shows how the human brain reasons spontaneously until it arrives at a solution. This movie is one heck of a thrill ride!
19
American Beauty 1999,  R)
American Beauty
One of the best movies ever. There is no doubt that Kevin Spacey is one of the best actors of all times. I loved the mix of drama and comedy in the movie. Awesome movie.

You can't go wrong with Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci together. The movie is awesome. The ending could be just a little bit better though. One of the best movies of Martin Scorsese. Brilliant.
21
Trainspotting 1996,  R)
Trainspotting
One of the best movies about drugs. The plot and the scenes with the hallucinations were great. Robert Carlyle was kind of funny in this movie. The scene where the guy dives in the toilet was pretty disturbing.
22
Tropa de Elite (The Elite Squad) 2008,  R)
Tropa de Elite (The Elite Squad)
It's the police's version of City of God. The movie shows that to fight crime in a such violent city like Rio de Janeiro, the cops must be violent too. The story is amazing and Wagner Moura's performance was flawless. Excellent!
23
No Country for Old Men 2007,  R)
No Country for Old Men
Excellent! Javier Bardem is a badass motherfucker in this movie. He totally deserved the Oscar for his role. Kelly Macdonald was also amazing. And what the Coen brothers have achieved is an atmosphere that is completely unique; they have put us in a world that is completely their own. We have no way of predicting what will happen next or how the movie will end because we have never set foot in a world quite like this one. The suspense builds throughout the entire movie and continues as the ending credits roll; there is no resolution. Also it is important to mention that the movie is very faithful to the book.
24
Sin City 2005,  R)
Sin City
This movie was so awesome! All the stories were great. The character played by Mickey Rourke was my favorite one. I loved what they did about just one object in each scene was colorful. The directing was good. A must watch movie. Now, I'm just waiting for the sequel.

Malcolm X
Great biography of a great man. Definetely one of the best movies with Denzel Washington. Spike Lee did an excellent job in this movie.
26
Into the Wild 2007,  R)
Into the Wild
One of the best movies of 2007! How does Emile Hirsch was not nominated for an Oscar? The plot and the acting were amazing. Eddie Vedder did an excellent job with the soundtrack. I felt sorry for the main character in the end. The way that he died alone in Alaska was terrible.
27
Before the Devil Knows You're Dead 2007,  R)
Before the Devil Knows You're Dead
Excelent movie. Excelent Cast. One of the best movies with Philip Seymour Hoffman. Marisa Tomei looks nice in this movie. hehehe. Great plot.
28
Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind 2004,  R)
Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind
One of the best romantic movies ever. Kate Winslet is perfect in this character, and Jim Carrey proves that he can act. The film will appeal to anyone whoâ??s ever been in a less-than-perfect relationship. In the end it conveys the strength of love, which looks beyond imperfections.
29
Cape Fear 1991,  R)
Cape Fear
One of the best suspenses i have watched in a long time. Robert DeNiro did an amazing job as a psycho with a southern accent. Juliette Lewis and Nick Nolte were also great. The tension stays until the end and it makes you interested all the time. Also Scorsese made a good adaptation from an old class. This version is better than the original one.
30
The Wrestler 2008,  R)
The Wrestler
WOW! What a movie?!?! Mickey Rourke is fantastic in this movie. The plot was flawless. Entertaining, exciting, brilliant. It's impossible not to fall in love with Marisa Tomei in this movie. Evan Rachel Wood once again play an annoying problem teenager.
31
The Shawshank Redemption 1994,  R)
The Shawshank Redemption
Outstanding! How this movie did not won an Oscar? Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman were fantastic together. The prison break-out scene was great.

Der Baader Meinhof Komplex (The Baader Meinhof Complex)
How did this movie not win the Oscar? It was excellent! Great political/biography/drama movie. Brilliant story, great cinematography, good acting. It containss a lot of strong real scenes about political conflicts that happened in Europe during the 60's and 70's. It's a must-seen movie.
33
Inglourious Basterds 2009,  R)
Inglourious Basterds
The old Tarantino is back! He has created his own imprimatur that instantly tells you what type of film you are in for when you sit in your seat and the curtain goes up. Excelent movie with brilliant dialogues and an outstanding performance from most of the cast. Brad Pitt is excelent. Great story, with some really gory scenes and the dialogues being the most important thing, like in the old good Tarantino movies. Alternative soundtrack as usual. The end was brilliant. One of the best movies of the year.
34
Burn After Reading 2008,  R)
Burn After Reading
The story was different. Brad Pitt and George Clooney were fantastic in this movie. Some parts were funny and the way that John Malkovich kills that guy was shocking. The movie was good to show that after the end of the Cold War, the CIA became a little bit obsolete.
35
Good Bye, Lenin 2002,  R)
Good Bye, Lenin
Beautiful story about how this boy made everything to protect his mom of the tragic truth about the crisis of Communism in Germany. "Good Bye, Lenin" is a comic parable about coming to terms with the tumultuous and rapid socio-political change following the fall of the Berlin Wall. It is a must-see film for anyone interested in the history of communism's rapid fall in Europe and the reunification of Germany. The acting by Katrin Sass was astonishing. Excellent. A "must-watch" movie. I just would not say that it is a comedy like it is classified.
36
Heat 1995,  R)
Heat
Heat is probably one of the best crime/thrillers ever been produced. With an outstanding cast and plot, Heat gives us a lot of good action scenes, an exciting cat-and-mouse game between DeNiro and Pacino, and side stories between the guys and their wives and girlfriends. The supporting parts, all well done, suitably complimenting where needed, and fading into the background when needed. Definitely one of Michael Mann's best movies.
37
Cinderella Man 2005,  PG-13)
Cinderella Man
What a wonderful movie! Russell Crowe & Renee Zellweger are perfect together in these roles. Paul Giamatti does a great job as well. The movie really covers the true story of Jim Braddock and his family's struggle during the great depression. Great fight scenes that fit into the storyline without overwhelming the story.
