My Favorite Movies

Dear Ndugu: This movie was a very sweet story. I could've done without seeing Kathie Bates' boobs.

All of the Aliens are great. They started out with a brilliant idea for a monster and what they got was a very strong franchise that is still going. The thing bleeds acid people!

A beautiful and adorable little thing. What human being won't watch this and fall in love with Audrey Tautou.

This movie teaches so much about belief in God, talents, mediocrity... It's perfect.

Redford and Hoffman are a great team here. They show us how journalists used to get their scoops... they investigated and put their asses on the line. This is a good way to learn about some history too.

This may be Woody Allen's best performance. This is the beginning of romantic comedy. Be careful not to miss the hilarious young Christopher Walken.

Few movies are as wonderful as this. It's an allegory for the soul and it is just beautiful.

A more serious Woody Allen breaks down Crime and Punishment. He deals well with some pretty heavy themes that he later returns to address in Match Point in a different way. This is worth watching several times.

This is pretty heavy stuff. Vincent D'Onofrio really blows me away. Wow.

Brilliant. Wonderful cast, good music and acting and sets and costumes. I love the atmosphere that Altman creates here. Beautiful

A light-hearted Woody Allen. Making fun of the Russians. It seems like he was ahead of his time with this kind of thing... Airplane and Naked Gun picked up the same kind of anachronistic and out of place gags in their movies. Woody Allen did it better.

Perfect movie for Christmas. Everyone should see this once every year.

The writing in this movie was very good. The underrated Tom Cruise does well. Ari Gold takes after him a bit. Obviously, the star of the show is Cuba Gooding Jr. His energy is contagious.

You could say this movie changed my life... T.E.Lawrence in his white robes has been my hero since childhood. This is a timeless epic.

One of my favorite movies of all time. This thing will make you laugh and smile. It'll impress you with it's cinematography and everything like that. Don't miss it.

This movie introduced me to the beauties of so many things... Edward Norton, David Fincher, Tyler Durden, Helena Bonham Carter, Brad Pitt... Yeah. Kicks ass. It's an absolute masterpiece.

In the style of Kirosawa, Tarantino mixes the story around a litle bit and puts his own unique spin on things. This is a classic. Everybody should see it.

Zach Braff has lots of writing/directing talents that nobody sees in the subpar, unfunny Scrubs. Natalie Portman is tragically cute too.

I was first attracted to this movie by the outstanding cast... and then I was impressed by the wonderful little stories that they tell. It's hard to choose a favorite. Hugh Grant was a cool PM.

I like to think that I'm one of few people who know about this movie. Some of my closest friends have said that his movie is better than the Matrix. What do you think about that? Christian Bale does have pretty eyes. Maybe that helps.

The answering machine scene ALONE is a window into my so-called life.

So now we know that the oil companies have a lot of political sway and maybe America has a lot to gain from American companies having contracts in the Middle East. The fact that America won't stay out of the mix, perseverates the Middle East that we know and love. American progress means a stagnant Middle East. Shame on us.

A must see. Learn something about an important world culture. Do yourself a favor.

Must see this in HD. It has some interesting comments about politics and people's voice.

Adam and Eve wear nada. All I needed was Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci, and everything else was good too.

Ok, so we've all had our little theories about how exactly Mossad retaliated after Black September did their dirty work at the Munich Games. I've had my own theories... and we've all read the book... now we have this movie to give us a better idea of what may have really happened. This might fill in some of the gaps in your stories.
