Knocked Up
Finally saw it over the weekend... this film definitely lives up to its hype!!! Ms Heigl is all game as an aspiring E! News reporter who gets...well...
"knocked up"...the next thing you know, she faces motherhood while Seth Rogen's Ben Stone (how appropriate) can't seem to make heads or tails about his new situation in life; however, it is his sheer cluelessness that sharpens the comic bite of this film. It is raw but not too gross, it doesn't moralise or sugarcoat the idea of parenthood (no rush to the altar), but nevertheless delivers its message convincingly and effortlessly

Snappy dialogue and unsentimental direction from Jason Reitman prove that there is much sense behind all the online buzz for this.... Ellen Page's maturity beyond her years is surprisingly convincing...
