Since the day I first saw this movie until this very day, I have enjoyed watching it, although, for different reasons. The premise is plausable. Mel Gibson and Joaquin Phoenix are terrific. A must see...and own!

Interesting thing is...I did not like this movie when I originally watched it. I thought the plot was too far out there, and that the acting was to stiff. Years later when I got turned on to the TV series I gained a better feeling for this film. In closing, I am of the opinion that the director's cut version of the movie is better than the original theatrical version.
