A fantastic first chapter of an epic trilogy. The introduction to all the characters is perfectly done, and the Balrog cave battle is one of the most visually striking fantasy scenes ever filmed. My favourite film from the trilogy. |

It's a great movie to re-visit and one of those films you can watch over and over. It was one of the first movies to be completely be aimed at the MTV generation back in the day, so......because of that we aren't really getting anything too deep and complex...........BUT.......where the movie lacks in story it makes up in great songs, great dancing and best of all........great casting. |
