Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind 2004,  R)
Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind
Never have I seen a more accurate and heartbreaking portrayal of modern relationships as is seen in this film. A true testament to the acting of Carrey and Winslet and the writing of Charlie Kaufman. Endlessly re-watchable.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (Il Buono, il Brutto, il Cattivo.) 1966,  R)
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (Il Buono, il Brutto, il Cattivo.)
The ultimate western. Rarely does a film have one character that will go down as one of the greatest of all time, let alone three. The final 15 minutes of this film is as close to perfection as you will find in all of cinema.
3
Cool Hand Luke 1967,  PG)
Cool Hand Luke
One of the most iconic and lovable anti-heroes ever created. Paul Newman gives the performance of his career in this film, in my opinion. It just doesn't get any cooler than Luke Jackson.
4
Apocalypse Now 1979,  R)
Apocalypse Now
The best war movie ever filmed. Despite the fact that it has very few battle scenes and is completely unlike any other war film ever made, this movie stands above all the rest. Martin Sheen is the rock of the film, but the show is stolen by Robert Duvall, Marlon Brando, and Dennis Hopper, even though their roles and screentime are limited. An experience like none other from start to finish.
