Beautiful, absolutely stunning directing- Fassbender is my favorite Rochester and well done to Aussie Mia Wasikowska's 'plain' passionate Jane. Brava!

X-Men: First Class 2011,  PG-13)
X-Men: First Class
misjudged this film and came into it expecting to be disappointed (what with the amateurish posters and the not so exciting trailers) but man- McAvoy and Fassbender's bromance saved this movie along with quite a good script and plot. They're adopted children- er- I mean the first class were great as well, the special effects were fabulous as well
10
Thor 2011,  PG-13)
Thor
I love you Chris Hemsworth! and being a huge Natalie Portman fan already, the two of them together- very cute. And because of my tumblr dashboard Tom Hiddleston has now grown on me though I was impressed with his Loki- looking forward to seeing them all again in Avengers!
11
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 2010,  PG-13)
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1
(Writing this in hindsight of seeing part II) Excellent pacing of the book material and the actors have certainly matured and delivered an equally grown up performance. Despite being only half a book it felt like a whole movie. My second-best favorite of the film franchise.

Rurôni Kenshin: Seisô hen (Samurai X: Reflection) 2001,  Unrated)
Rurôni Kenshin: Seisô hen (Samurai X: Reflection)
THE BEST Kenshin film in the universe. Totally heartbreaking and beautiful visuals. I don't quite agree that it's what he would have done after his days as a rurouni but it's excellent.
23
Casino Royale 2006,  PG-13)
Casino Royale
Never liked Bond. Until this film.
24
Iron Man 2008,  PG-13)
Iron Man
I can't believe how sexy Stark was, I was expecting a mediocre Marvel movie, but I waaaay off. This is one of the best and successful graphic novel adaptations.
25
The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian 2008,  PG)
The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian
Bloody f**king fantastic. A MASSIVE improvement on the first one. Mostly because of Ben Barnes. I'm so glad he wasn't a 13/14 yr old boy, great tactic by the director to lure in female fans, it worked.

Not one minute was boring, there was always something happening. Fight scenes were very well done and much more believable than the first.
26
Clueless 1995,  PG-13)

It's THE ultimate chick flick classic.

Not Another Teen Movie
lmfao just.so.funny.
34
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 2011,  PG-13)
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2
despite being a mind blowing ending to a great movie franchise of an even greater series of books, I couldn't help but feel somewhat disappointed. Maybe it felt rushed? or it was the too obvious preference of the director to Hermione/Harry and not enough Ron or heck, Ron/Hermione? Fred's death wasn't given the emphasis it deserved when I Hedwig's loss was more heartbreaking in the part I? The films, while wonderful, are HP:Lite- the real magic happens in the books
35
Constantine 2005,  R)
Constantine
Total demon-but kicking movie.
36
Fight Club 1999,  R)
37
Final Fantasy VII - Advent Children 2005,  PG-13)

Square delivered. Awesome!! Fight scenes were amazing and the CGI is breath-taking.
38
De Tweeling (Twin Sisters) 2005,  R)
De Tweeling (Twin Sisters)
Fantastic movie about the relationship between two sisters, and not merely sisters, twins, set with the backdrop of WWII.

Amazing tale about victims of circumstance, the cruelty of fate and love.
