A Streetcar Named Desire 1951,  PG)
A Streetcar Named Desire
great great film. I wish i could give poor blanche a hug. >:-D< Personally i find this movie to be very dark and creepy. No happy ending, here.. But its kind of a study in what makes people the way they are, like Blanche.. normally someone i would despise, but once her past unfolded i found myself overwhelmed with pity and understanding for her. Truly a classic.

((spoiler)) my take...short version.. Diane is a failed actress, who hires a hitman to kill her lover Camilla. What she didnt realize is that, upon receiving the blue key she would be consumed with guilt. She dreams of how things could have been, her expectations of life in hollywood.. where everyone greets her with open arms and appreciates her as talented... and her and Camilla are together. She awakens back in her miserable apartment and kills herself.

Inuyasha - Tenka hadou no ken (Inuyasha the Movie 3: Swords of an Honorable Ruler)
Loved the series. Loved the movies. This is IMO the best of the movies.. Why? Sesshomaru, for one. And its the only of the films that answers some of the mysteries of the series.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (Wo hu cang long) 2003,  PG-13)
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (Wo hu cang long)
Best english dub i've ever seen/heard. I liked the sub version i saw in the theatre, but avoided the dvd, thinking it would be original language also. The voice-over dialog on the dvd matches up so closely,, its hard to tell its a foreign language film!! I found the english version to be an improvement over the original, since your eyes are free to focus on the beautiful cinematography.
