Hollywood's treatment on an icon of a nation actually turned out pretty well. Gibson is suprisingly believable as the heart broken barbarian. A very good supporting cast makes this memorable too. |

A must see for fans of this genre. Top-notch perfomances from all the cast esp. Viggo whose just mesmerises whoever sees him. He's flawless! The only thing that lets this down is the dismal ending, it was so abrupt if you blink, you'll miss it. For that reason alone this does not get full marks. |

It was absolutley brilliant of course my sister was too scared to say a word which was a bonus! :) Tim Burton does a great job of getting perfomances out of his star - studded cast (as expected). The gothy type atmosphere which is a trademark of Burton's works perfectly for the plot |
