This is a classy, classy film. It's a thoroughly absorbing story of corruption in the "golden age" of American television. Stylishly directed and fantastically acted (Paul Schofield is just brilliant). If you haven't seen it you are missing out on an absolute classic.

Atonement
Best film I've seen in 2007. Not having read the book (and I purposely avoid reading anything about it before seeing the film) I didn't know to expect. But wehat I found was an amazing, thought provoking, well acted, heartbreaking drama with fantasstic cinematography. The extended single shot on the beach before the Dunkirk evacuations left me breathless. Joe Wright has made a truly fantastic film.

Slumdog Millionaire
A brilliant film. Everything you could possibly want from a trip to the cinema drama, humour, romance, excitement, beautiful visuals, fantastic performances and characters you just can't help rooting for. You may just have realised, I loved Slumdog Millionaire!
