My Favorite Movies

It's such a colourful and surreal film but it's real at the same time. All these different people's lives. I think the love affair between Margo and her half brother is fascinating.

It's absolutely hilarious, really tacky at the end but apart from that brilliant. I like the music element there because they're all my favourite bands from the 70s. My favourite part was "Your children have touched me, and I'm sure I've touched them too.." amazing.

I watched this when I was seven and it was the first film that made me cry at the end. It has such beautiful imagery, it's how I imagine paradise to be.

I liked the camera angles/ films used and it my fulfilled my usual like of colours and surrealism. Very dark; a lot of sick/ funny scenes depending on how you look at it.

I liked the way it was set in a comic book fashion but without the worn out leotards and "I want to save the world!" crap. There was a constant grey haze over the film visually and emotively. It was believable and realistic in the way he came to terms with the fact he was what he was and the ending scene was amazing - the fact that someone so feeble could be so evil is profounding.

It's not indepth or intellectual but it doesn't have to be. I'm just wetting myself all the way through because I thought the spoof on signs was great, especially when the aliens pissed out their fingers- that really made it for me.

So much better than the first one and no one else can play the role like Jim Carrey can - it's all I can think of when I hear his name.

I only saw the first five minutes but it still looked good.
