My Favorite Movies

By far my favourite out of the 3, Helm's Deep battle is so intense, the script is so emotional! My least fav part is with the Ent, sooo slow but it had to be there. Grima creeped me out!!! Eomer (I freakin' love him) hm.. another thing that sorta bothered me is the way they portrayed Faramir who is soo much better in the books but gosh, just for Helm's Deep I'd give this a 5!

I've watched this movie more than 400x I'm not even kidding! I've read the books and I didn't find myself complaining like I do for Harry Potter and so many more flops! Peter Jackson did a fantastic job so did all the actors. The choice of casting a younger Frodo was simply BRILLIANT and Viggo.. I can never get enough of him. Sean Bean I LOVE YOU, those Uruk-Hai are badass I love them!!

Everybody's favourite!! But I'm still in love with the 2nd one, even if this one is perfect too!! King Théoden's speech in Minas Thiril makes me cry everytime I watch this movie! Aragorn's speech in Mordor's gate makes me cry, Sam's speech to Frodo @ Mount Doom make's me cry.. Everybody's speeches makes me cry lol.. I always feel like such a whimp after this movie!

LMMAO.. I laughed too much.. the end was kinda cheezy though but the rest of the movie was NASTY and FUNNY!

such a beautiful movie, such a fantastic story!! And that ending... did it really have to be so tragic?? I just knew it was gonna end bad, it was just too good and too beautiful. Takeshi Kaneshiro is so yummy and I've got mad respect for Andy Lau, he's one of my favourite actors ever!!

Takeshi Kaneshiro is enough reason to make me see anything, even a 2 sec. commercial and this movie was absolutly worth all my time. I love the music, the charters, the drama. Simply beautiful and once again Takeshi yum! And I'd rather watch this 100x than watch lame ass Moulin Rouge with corpse like Kidman!!!

I was so happy they didn't remake the musical, this movie is as perfect as perfect can get. I mean it is Jody and Chow after all. Beautiful, Tom Felton was so adorable but I loved the arrogant prince the most lol and princess Kiki aawww. This film is amazing if you haven't seen it yet, shame on you!

I will never get enough of this movie!!! It was a mind fuck but in a good way!! Everything was just enough, had they added one more thing, it would have been ruined. gosh.. Johnny Depp, Billy Nighy, and Geoffrey Rush were superb they didn't let Johnny steal all the glory, Keira had already stepped up in the 2nd movie and continued to do a great job but my biggest surprise came from Orlando, Will finally became a pirate!! YAY, such a great ending but I WANT MOOOOORE!!!

Great stuff, Billy Nighy was SOOO AMAZING, I LOVE YOU UNCLE BILLY I won't do drugs (inside j/k)!! Johnny once again stole the show but Keira stepped up big time, I'm still waiting for Orly to do something interesting (maybe on the 3rd one?)

What a fantastic movie, Mr. Depp is BACK! I got my nephew hooked on this joint.. Geoffrey Rush, amazing, I feel for Barbossa..."gentelmen, take a walk!" favourite scene!!

I LOVE YOU!!! Of course Quentin cheated 'cause they both were supposed to make so so movies and well Death Proof turns out to be the shiznit! Planet Terror had it's kick ass moments yo and it was hilarious! Bruce Willis lmao and OMG Quentin that was just discusting! I cannot wait to own this on DVD.. So hm.. will they be selling them separatly?!?

love it! say vampires and I'm in, whether they're good or evil. Blade, I love his dry humour, he almost reminds me of Batman (there's just a thing about dark and cynical that makes me smile lol).

hand claps for Bill Nighy, Michael Sheen & Shane Brolly. Kate was alright but Scott Speedman? aarrgghh also the werewolf/vamp hybird he becomes is not appealing at all. They should revisit that costume.

This sequel lacked all the awesomeness of the first film, Billy Nighy & Michael Sheen make this film. Scott Speedman ought to get fired Kate and her spandex can stay.

I don't care what you say, I LOVED IT!yes EVERYTHING ABOUT IT.. Although.. I'm still waiting for someone to present the devil as GORGEOUS, because that's really how he is!

V IS MY HERO!!! I feakin' quote him all the time yo, he's the man!! I also love the comics... basically, this movie is an inspiration to me! Nathalie's accents (not so cool) but as Evey no pb...I love Hugo Weaving in this role, eventhough we never see his face but his intensity does the job. I've see this movie more than a normal being should but what can I say, I'm a sucker for peace disturbers!

I almost thought it was a Zhang Yimou film because it's just sooo beautiful! Those who love beautiful cinematography will be satisfied! The story was also beautiful, beware of the promises you made as a child 'cause it might come back to bite you in the ass and some kids are just too bitter lol! I cannot wait to own it on DVD!!

Such a beautiful film. I must admit I had to watch a couple of scenes twice 'cause I was not getting it!! Once it was clear to me though, I feel in love. This must become part of my collection!

as Sabrina said, I wouldn't watch it again, I almost died of an heart attack watching this movie! This movie is indeed just about The Passion of Jesus Christ. Many christians read it in the bible and say "yeah christ suffered and died for our sins" but to actually see it, makes you realize that the man REALLY HAD IT BAD! So you might just start to rethink about your life and be a nice fella!

my oh my... the reason why this does not get 5 stars is because Mr. Zhang totally killed me with that end. The movie was going so well, why did he had to go so Chinese/French on me this time?!? I know they're not into happy endings like the French but dang, that was just screwed up!

If it wasn't for Watanabe Ken, I don't think I would have seen this movie!! Domo arigatou gozaimasu, this movie really touched me.

OMG.. HAHAHA those were the days man! The mind sex thingy, what an invention!!! So I rewatched the movie recently as an adult and surprisingly I didn't find bad at all, usually when I rewatch old action flicks I find myself laughing out of embarrasment but this time I thought it was pretty decent and I still enjoyed it as if it was the first time. Now I can't say much about the "future fashion" like Sandra Bullock's eyebrows, wtf??!! but overall, it's still a relevant movie!

what can I say, two of my favs actors batteling it out with magic tricks! Both characters intense in their own ways, sometimes you feel for Hugh'character and sometimes you just want to give Christian a hug. And oh my even David Bowie was credible. I loved every inch of this movie except for the end 'cause I just love them both so I felt really sad. Great stuff though.
P.S: Do not compare this with the Illusionist 'cause they have nothing to do with each other, though both movies are fantastic!

The dark night is back! I truely love this darker and less comical Bat 'cause the whole theatrics of the other batmans was getting out of hand! For those whining about him not becoming Batman until halfway of the movie, that's because it's Batman Begins, idiots!!! you've got to get some background info... anywho. Visually phenomenal, Christian Bale totally brings it to the table once more (I've always said that he is underated in hollywood), the only person killing this movie is Katie Holmes but God never sleeps and she will not be in the sequel! I can hardly wait for it!

Good stuff but it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO LONG! Of course the Iroquois had to die and white boy turns mawhawk for his revenge French racism never fails in it's movies, I wonder why they can't admit it in real life though... Monica Bellucci was delicious as usual. I love how she and her husband always end up in the same movies but it's always soo beautiful. Vincent Cassel je t'aime and Gaspard Uliel was simply adorable!

This is such an amazing film. The story is absolutly touching, Keisha Castle-Hughes is such a touching actress, she does everything with such an ease and it's so naturally, Rawiri Paratene as the stubborn Koro is amazing! I can't believe I hadn't rated this movie yet. I loved it, I love it and I will always love it. It seems that the Bourne movie kept on getting better (we can't say the same for the books, Bourne Legacy eeeeerrkk!!). For me it was a treat but I know Carlissa, Mikhail, Steven & Nicci now think that I'm mental lol Jodelle Ferland is AMAZING! That little girl kinda creeps me out a bit, she's a good actress. This movie is unbearable, sickening, extremely disturbing and that's why it's amazing

Money well freakin' spent!!! I must own this movie! I already loved the musical and Tim Burton did an amazing job keepin'it real and funky. Johnny was amazing, he really never fails to impress. Helena B. Carter was FANTASTIC, Alan Rickman hilarious and Sacha B. Cohen was actually believable. I have to see this movie twice again before I own it.

good stuff, Carly Pope was good but it felt more like that's what happened to her character in Popular after graduation, Daniella Sea is YUMMY, loved it cause it wasn't another coming out story all depressing and stuff. Jenny Shimizu hihihi! and why do they keep on putting Clea DuVall's name as if she's a main character in this movie, we only see like 2sec. of her, which is really sad. But hopefully she'll be there in Heroes next season??!!

I fell in love with Colin all over again! I thought he was absolutly amazing. So vulnerable, I just wanted to give Bobby a BIG HUG!! The other actors are fantastic aswell. Clearly underated, it's one of my all time favourites 'cause it doesn't have a depressing end. I thought it was gonna have a tragic end, like most beautiful love stories. This one has a pleasant end (for me).

WOW, I didn't think it'd turn out to be such a touching story. Hanni is my favourite though she's just so bad ass and hilarious especially when she punishes the boys, too funny!!!

This is the Zhang I remember, and this is the one that I love. I know his recent movies a beautiful, trust me I'm a sucker for anything this man makes but this movie is why I fell in love with his movies in the first place. This man knows how to tell stories with real people, you can feel everything, Li Gong had me supressing my tears the whole film. What an amazing story of ordinary people in China during the cultural revolution. Each actor pulled their weight and gave such wonderful performances. If you watch this movie and don't like then there's something majorly wrong with you. This movie could not be better!!! PERFECT!!!

Korean movies saved my life this summer!! This is yet another great one! Sweet story about a woman who gets the opportunity to go back in the past and change her love life because it turns out that in the future that guy she loved then is a total jerk. Geon Yu is so freakin' cuuuuute!!

Women and old people with power are evil beings and they should not be trusted... I think that's the moral of the story. Oh no, never mind maybe that's something else! Let's talk about Jet being a badass, that was just intense, I'll never get over the battle of SuZhou and that massacre, that was just cold. All three actors did a fantastic job at portraying these blood brothers and what happens when a brotherhood goes wrong because of a woman and power, the whole time I was feeling for Andy Lau's character, who cries in such awesome ways (by awesome I mean emotional), Takeshi plays devotee absolutly well because I wanted to smack him for most of the movie. Jet of course is just amazing at playing characters that you love to hate or hate to love whatever way you choose to put it. I was sucked into the movie from the bloody battle scene to the bloody end of it.

Viewers should be warned that watching this movie on an empty stomach may cause you to rush to the nearest Chinese Restaurant.
When Ang Lee gets it right, a film becomes a true work of art. The story of a man with 3 daughters each with their own stories, who come together to make big announcements about their lives during sunday dinner. I must say that I really did not expect the twist that was coming. This is a movie worth watching. Just don't watch it hungry you will be mad lol

I like how he never speaks Korean in the whole movie. He is so my type of person with that "I've never apologized for anything in my life" attitude. I love the dad especially in the end lmao! Nothing lifts me up better than a good Korean movie!

I don't know how many times my best friend and I have laughed over the insanity that is this movie! The madness just doesn't stop, it's hilarious, even the messed up subtitles makes it even funnier. If you're having a crappy day, I recommend this movie!

Absolutly loved it!

So the Good isn't really that good but more like the coldest Korean the Weird has ever met who always looks cool under pressure. The Bad is the emo kid who had too much crack and now makes bizarre faces with his eyes (he's probably thinking that he's too sexy for Manchuria), and the Weird, well he is weird but in a more I-don't-really-know-what-I'm-doing-but-let's-just-run-with-it type. This is not a Western, it's an Eastern with Manchurian/Korean gangsters who sport cool hair such as mawhawks, dreadlocks and cornrows. The violence can be tolerated by the faint of heart but it's just a little light weight for me. Other than that, just enjoy the movie for what it is and don't bother comparing it the original. I enjoyed it!
