Quite simply the best!!! Magical....such as a dream that makes you feel happy but you can't relive. Reminds me of a warm memory that's heart-felt but fleeting...its a valentine to movie-making..it is stylish..romantic..a timeless movie... Such enjoyable performances by tony leung and faye wong, who is better known as a wildly popular singer..I rate this wong kar wai's finest!!!

Liza's finest acting role...a great story told prior to the onset of WWII, superior acting, and the music timeless

panned by many..but I think ariane is alluring and seductive in her first cinematic appearance and mickey rourke is relentless and believable in this role...this movie has an 'epic' feel to it..engrossing story, violent, highly entertaining tale from michael cimino (deer hunter, gates of heaven).

A beautiful movie...sad yet touching...almost poetic in nature..its about relationships, destiny and one's place in time..the movie moves at a deliberate pace, taking pains to weave its story delicately...until reaching that one defining moment..that one powerful scene in the hallway...this memorable film is for the romantic in us, even if the ending is bittersweet...

visionary tale...excellent storytelling..acting is first rate..one of scheider's best roles...entertaining musical thats not a musical..rather a depiction of the non-stop life of bob fosse and his spiral downward...memorable and timeless!

I love this movie..ekin and cecilia have great chemistry...interesting time travel theme done well...romanitc fare with bit of drama and action thrown in..enjoyable to watch;)

Luc Besson's best...plenty of action, tension and drama; Reno along with Oldman and Portman give A+ performances....not to be missed!

Not a sexual movie but it deals with selling sex. This movie has a lot of heart and I enjoyed it alot. It basically follows the activity of the 3 youngfemale characters for one night. The script is smart and the acting is spot on by the entire casr. It will hold your interest, with plenty of drama and suspense. See it!

one of my fave movies after just watching it...this movie is so good..so rich...touching, bittersweet, with some brilliant scenes I started tearing up, they were so good. Watch for the voice inflections, the nuances by the 2 leads, the glances, facial expressions..the dialogue interplay and what isnt said but expressed...its artful. Ching Wan Lau is my favorite hk actor and this is one of his masterpieces to be sure..I cant say enough about this movie..the ending does leave you wishing for more..it does leave you hanging:)

Highly enjoyable, engrossing, beautiful and long (6 hours +) drama that will definitely hold your interest. Think Coppola or Scorcese, all the drama with very little violence. A human interest story about 2 brothers, their family, and their life encounters over the next 25 years. I particularly found the Giorgia character unforgettable and the scene with Matteo bringing together his brother and soon to be wife together on the walking path a very poignant moment. A very rich and moving story you won't soon forget.
