Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope 1977,  PG)
62
Brief Encounter 1945,  Unrated)
Brief Encounter
This movie was one of the first romantic classics that actually felt real, it transcended time almost, like it could have been filmed yesterday. It just felt so honest. They didn't feel like actors like most 40's movies do, with sometimes overly dramatic performances, it was like I had a glimpse into something deeply personal. Great flick. Thanks Netflix!
63
Gran Torino 2008,  R)
Gran Torino
Wow, I haven't been this moved by a movie in a while. I felt the satisfaction I feel after I read a good book. I keep thinking about the point of the movie, the characters from every aspect and it was just awesome. Every thing fit together so eloquently that it's odd that it was based on so much crude language. I think that Clint Eastwood is at his best, and this movie was a risk he took that paid off. Surprisingly funny and touching, tragic and haunting. Another brilliant movie from a brilliant director.
64
Twelve Monkeys (12 Monkeys) 1995,  R)

Sliding Doors 1998,  PG-13)
Sliding Doors
I'm not sure what it is about this movie that I just love, it has it's flaws, but it is so charming... One of my favorites that I can watch over and over.
