And yes I said oh yes I will yes

I love this movie. I love it because I know what it feels about baseball and I feel exactly the same way. There is no complicated erudition that cuts to meaning about baseball the way this does.

It's beautiful and right.

If I am patriotic, this is what I am a patriot about. Not nations but things, beautiful, worthwhile things. Legends are things.

The clock at Wrigley Field exploding still makes me cry.

I don't give a fuck.

This movie means life to me.

Jean-Paul Belmondo is a god in this film.

So good...

Grizzly Man 2005,  R)
Grizzly Man
My favorite film of 2006. A brilliant criticism of a society that has lost its sense of adventure and an exploration, typically, of the madness brought on by the desire for love and knowledge. Herzog is the equal of any of the greats.

Casablanca
The greatest studio film made. One of the most underrated directors...

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is amazing. The script is gorgeous and the look of the film, all washed out, is perfect. My favorite movie, I think, from 2006.
18
GoodFellas 1990,  R)

The Book of Life 1998,  Unrated)
