I just love the tension it built, the ambiguity, the mind-playing..The eeriness, its just so real, I felt like the house was sucking me in too..I must agree, that CGI is never appropriate to scare people this way. An amazing way that is. Please avoid the remake.

You may say its predictable, unoriginal, not thought provoking,etc..etc... But to me, well, to make it short, I think I know why peter jackson produced this movie. Just like peter jakson did in his old days, made brilliant low budget movies, with high impact. this movie has it! Two words: Thumbs up!

I love the mystery & The tension it built. And the most fascinating thing is how this movie explore possibilities of hows, whos, and whens. the kinda movie that kept you guessing til the end, and made you think its predictable and end up being not.

This is definitely a dazzling picture, one of the best movie ever made. ever. The visuals are very stunning. A constant aweness from start to end. God damn you Kubrick, yer so brilliant!!!I can figure this movie out by at least 5 different stories (meanings). Til this day, nothing surpasses stanley kubrick by this movie. No, not even Stephen Spielberg.

I thought Up was the best animation in 2009. I was wrong. Mary and Max is the best. Though it was claymated, the characters were very real, and each &every one of them were depicted very well through consistent detailings. A nicely done drama&story. Emotionally intriguing. Superbly created.Highly recommended.

Despite of its plotholes (i.e using dogs as test subjects, not sure if their genes are anywhere near humans,etc), I pretty much enjoy the story, it's way out of its time. very well shot&directed. The atmosphere, the daughter is so strange and creepy..And woa..the ending..rreeaaallyy fascinates me!

Brilliant filmmaking!! The script written very geniously. The dialogues are very meaningful, even in backwards!! So pay attention really close, really-really close. Inspiring&strangely very funny (esp.the narration)! Everyone who enjoys memento or the movie alike should really see THIS!Really-really SEE THIS!!!

It was so good, it's creepy. The Tenant defines eeriness. A true disturbing psychological thriller played&directed by Polanski. His mind was believably mad in or probably off screen. Terrifying!

Quite an experience. It started out slow, but not that very long, the slow pacing, in fact it adds up to a quite effective character building. A memorable and a very real story, that just could happen to anyone, to think of it. Pretty erotic&beautiful too. Gorgeous picture of love gone mad.

No remake could match this masterpiece by hitchcock. This is what I call suspense. The last scene was just brilliant, no other word could describe it!
