Better than the Judy Garland (1939) Wizard of Oz in my opinion. More true to Baum's books and thus a bit darker and without all the musical numbers. Fairuza Balk's (The Craft) movie debut.
A really great movie that makes you laugh, cry and just feel good in the end. Toni Collette (from the more recent In Her Shoes) is awesome in this movie. Plus it's got a ton of ABBA music!
Pure fun. John Carpenter directing, Kurt Russell hilariously hamming it up, Kim Cattrall looking oh so gorgeous and an over the top fantasy story filled with action... what's not to love?
One of Christian Slater's best flicks I think. One of my favorite. Just filled with angst, hate, sorrow and confusion... which is why I related so much to this one I suppose.
Bruce Campbell at his funniest and the best of the Evil Dead movies. Avoid the director's cut or original ending though. The S-Mart ending is the best and funniest.
