I Know What You Did Last Summer 1997,  R)
I Know What You Did Last Summer
Outstanding. Simply amazing. This is by far the best horror movie I have ever seen in the longest time, and I love horror movies.

The story line seems so realistic, and it almost sends a message through your brain. That message, of course, is to be careful when driving. A group of four good friends are getting ready to leave for college in the fall. It takes place on the fourth of July, and there was a party with fireworks, and food. It was getting really late (midnight), and they decided it'll be best to leave. On the way home, the driver gets a little bit wasted, and starts speeding around a very windy road. Not such a good idea. Next moment their lives flashed by them. A man dressed in all black appeared out of no where, walked across the road, and the group of kids didn't slow down. Well you can guess the outcome of that.. Anyways, he was dead on the spot. After lots of freaking out, and thoughts rushing around their heads, they decide to dump the body into the ocean thinking that it won't show back up.

To make a long story short, a year later he's back.. And stronger than ever and all he wants is one thing. And that's to kill the teenagers that took his life away. Throughout the movie, he sends signs out showing that he "knows" what they did, and that he is out to get them.

It's incrediably creepy, and well worth seeing.

Scream 1996,  R)
Scream
Scream was..... what I would call a SCREAM! What an intense horror flick. I mean seriously. It was put together very well. Wes Craven has a devious mind. It starts out with a typical teenager being stalked by this "shady" character that's "watching her." Casey, (Drew Barrymore) answers the phone. Not such a good idea for a horror movie. That one little phone call, is a death wish. Now she struggles for her life moment by moment. The killer will let her live if she answers some questions based on horror movies right. She ends up loosing, and the outcome was brutal. That was just the first 15 minutes. The whole movie keeps you literally at the edge of your seat, and as the movie goes on, we dive deeper to find out who the "real" killer behind the mask is. This movie though, is NOT for the faint of heart. I strongly urge you to watch this to get your adreniline pumping.

Scary Movie 2000,  R)
Scary Movie
Keenen Wayans really knows paraodies in this epic movie... Scary Movie. It's not actually a scary movie. Instead, they make fun of multiple scary movies. (Scream, I Know What You Did Last Summer and e.t.c) And to make a movie that makes fun of certain movies funny, you really need to know how to make fun of them. They start off with I Know What You Did Last Summer. Carmen Electra is in the same enviornment that Casey was, but instead, everything was flipped to comedy. The flipside to this, is instead of her getting "slashed" right away, she has an option of different knives and guns and.... A banana. She has a choice, and she decides upon the Banana. It doesn't get much funnier than that. And of course, there is clearly a lot of obvious signs that we, movie watchers, will know what the right thing to do is. Well in the movie world, they don't. She has a choice to take the "stay alive" path or the "death" path. Of course she choices the death path. And what happens?? Well if you guessed she was killed, she was. She was stabbed, and he ripped her implant out. And then was unlucky when she got hit by the car. The people in the car where HER OWN PARENTS. The story goes on with many many many funnier moments like this.

Anna Farris pulled this part off ike she was born to do this type of genre. She is believable, and at the same time, dosen't know what shes doing. (Her character). The plus about her, is she acts the same way in all the movies. Because of this, the other 3 are just as good.

But this movie did have it's downfalls. Not many, but the one that I could think of off the top of my head was the length. It could've been longer. It was just so funny that I would loved to see hours more of spoofs. And at times it was a little corny. There were some bad jokes.

Overall though, I did like this, and I gave it 4 stars. I would watch it many more times.
