been a couple of years since i've seen this, so i decided to venture back into it last night. nevermind the obvious themes of confusion and poetic imagery. i think what stuck out most this time...was just the notion of how putting yourself out there...will always result with someone's displeasure. whether intentional or not. artists are taught this idea of it "coming from the inside" to really be constructed as "good"....but can the ones around us (our should be supporters) really handle that? |
