Deewaar (Wall) (I'll Die for Mama) 1975,  Unrated)
Deewaar (Wall) (I'll Die for Mama)
The greatest movie ever to come out of bollywood. Epitomizes India post-independence. AB delivers his best ever performance, defines the "Angry young man".

Salim Javed deliver the best ever script in Bwood. Virtually every second line is a hummable dialogue today.

If u claim to watch/like Hindi movies, you got to have seen Deewaar and Sholay. Then again, anyone would tell you that.
2
A Fistful of Dollars (Per un Pugno di Dollari) 1964,  R)
A Fistful of Dollars (Per un Pugno di Dollari)
The first of the Spaghetti Westerns! Often underrated when compared to the other two, this is a westernized more violent remake of Kurosawa's Yojimbo.

A must watch.
3
Scarface 1983,  R)
Scarface
Welcome to the 80s. The cocaine, the drug lords... the money.

Tony Montana.

This movie defines the 80s. The soundtrack. The drama. And Pacino in a performance of a lifetime.

Spawned a million merchandise stuff like games and comics, cannot beat the real thing.

Scarface is a genre of its own.
4
Sholay (Embers) (Flames) (Flames of the Sun) 1975,  PG)
Sholay (Embers) (Flames) (Flames of the Sun)
Sholay defined modern Bollywood in many ways. This movie has gained cult status and is regarded as the greatest story ever told. Borrowing heavily from the Spaghetti westerns, this movie sucessfully ushered in a new era of Hindi Cinema.
5
The Motorcycle Diaries (Diarios de Motocicleta) 2003,  R)
The Motorcycle Diaries (Diarios de Motocicleta)
A beautiful movie of self discovery. Of course, heavily loaded with communist overtones, but makes you explore the spirit of adventure in your own heart.

Brilliant performances and of course, based on a true story of Che himself!

So What is keeping you from watching this?
6
The Crow 1994,  R)
The Crow
A cult mov for several reasons.

The story is very, very grim, based on a comic which is even more grim. This story was written to vent the frustration of the loss of his love to drunken driving.

Brandon Lee(Son of Bruce Lee) died in a freak accident on the final week of the shoot.

Very very artistic and violent. Must watch.
