One of the early films Hitchcock made in the US and although it made impeccably well the story was a little convoluted & confusing.
There where many scenes that stood out and and the craft behind them sensational. The murder scene in the Windmills in Holland was a stand out scene, so subtle & effective.
This was a solid spy thriller but not the greatest in his extensive resume. I think the flow of the film was a bit confusing which was a shame since the other elements of the film where top notch.

Many critics have labelled this film the greatest film of all time! i personally agree...spielberg i believe reached the pinnacle of his filmmaking carrer with this monumental beautiful passion piece. Many scenes are completely emotionally pulverising but especially the girl in the red dress. This my film that i decided i wanted to be a filmmaker!

The greatest debut film of any filmmaker, let alone an australian! This is an intense film but a powerful! Not for the faint hearted, never a film has captured the horrors of high school like this, it deals with really hard issues!!!
