A very solid entry in the Zatoichi series, with none other than Toshiro Mifune playing his type of role (a sarcastic bodyguard) and with Katsu Shin showing that even good ol' Ichi can have thirst of getting some gold for his own good.

Completely and ridiculously complex. Where's the amazing and breathtaking scenery I watch these Zatoichi films for? Poor Mifune makes the most of a bad situation, and the ending was cute, but not even he could save this.

This was slow in some spots and I feel like some parts could have been cut out. This is a must see for all fans of Zatoichi!
