Good photography and a few interesting moments doesn't make Young Einstein a nice picture to watch.

This movie was hyped in 1988 more than "Jason Goes to Manhattan" ever was!
Yahoo Serious was a quirky Australian comic akin to Pee-Wee Hermann and Napoleon Dynamite. I wonder if he inspired Yahoo.com??
Regardless, he appears in a quiet little comedy about his exploits and i... read more -

Different to believe, Einstein invented not only relativity, but also the electric guitar and surfing, splitting the atom in his spare time.

The most fun movie I've watched in years. Kinda like Bill & Ted meet Bill Nighe. I really just wanted to say that cause it sounded cool.

The funniest thing about this movie is that I was somehow able to convince my parents to pay money so that I could watch it.

Wonderful movie. Great subtle humor throughout.
I watched this movie repeatedly as a child and at 24 still haven't grown tired. -

Mostly retarded, but most of his reasoning was sound at least. I'll admit I almost couldn't stand it when the cook was putting the kittens in the pie. It was like this terrible blended feeling of love for the cute kittens, and horror that they're being put in the pie. I don't kno... read more

I couldn't even make it through this movie! Did anyone?
An animated, and clever cocktail of laughs and rock and roll
Pee-Yew! It was in focus, though.
Lots of energy; very few laughs.
as much fun as you can have watching someone being repeatedly electrocuted and blown up -- over and over again Full Review
...with no depth to the main character and little that's really funny to commend its script, Young Einstein falls as flat as old dad's beer. Full Review
Funny, though not hilarious. Too bad it launched a lackluster career on the part of Mr. Serious.
Too strange to dislike
