A high-powered PR professional discovers that her brother is about to marry the woman who made her high school life a living hell in this comedy starring Kristen Bell and Odette Yustman. Back in her t... read more read more...eens, Marni (Bell) was a little awkward. These days she's a successful career woman, but the memories of being tormented by popular cheerleader Joanna (Yustman) still make her break into a cold sweat. Flying home for her brother's Will's wedding, Marni realizes to her horror that she will soon be sister-in-law to the pompon-wielding mean girl who once humiliated her in front of the entire student body. And apparently her nemesis learned from the best, because back when Marni's mom (Jamie Lee Curtis) was in high school, Joanna's aunt (Sigourney Weaver) served up the same kind of treatment. Now that they're about to become family, Marni and her mom do their best to let bygones be bygones. But old grudges die hard, and by the time the wedding bells chime, these old foes will already have some saucy stories to share with their grandchildren. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

This movie was awful. Not only was the music and acting horrible, but I did not laugh once in this movie. In the end it was depressing abd sad, and the only reason I give it 1 star is because i'm being generous, im serious people, never, never, never edure the pain I experience... read mored with this.

This movie is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. It's absolutely painful and boring to watch. A very predictable story, which is to be expected, but there are several unlikeable characters and I hated the main character which is not a good thing. The characters are just comp... read morelete annoying idiots. I hated this movie.

I know, I know - this is disposable Hollywood pap. And yet, it was kind of good. I liked seeing Kristen Bell with two legends (Sigourney Weaver and Jamie Lee Curtis), and Betty White was the cherry on top. Fun, couply movie for... couples... but not without some good laughs. The ... read morefirst hour is pretty solid before it drips into Hallmark territory in the end, but this film was much more entertaining than I expected.

Wow, I can't believe how bad this movie was. It doesn't work on any level, even as a basic comedy! So many great actresses completely wasted on this cliche tale of post-High School prepubescent drama that no one should take for a grain of salt.

It's not anything it thinks it is,... read more funny, insightful, emotional, witty; just... no. None of that. The ONLY reason I made it through 1 hour and 45 minutes of this utter garbage is because of my respect for Weaver and Bell.

This is a fun, mildly funny, but pretty entertaining chick flick. Kind of like a tame, grown up version of "Mean Girls." Jamie Lee Curtis and Sigourney Weaver are both great as old high school rivals. It's not often that women in their 50's are in comedies anymore, and they bo... read moreth nailed it perfectly. I'd even go as far as to say they outdo their younger counterparts Kristen Bell and Odette Yustman(what kind of name is that?). Bell is better here than she was in "When in Rome", which was a train wreck. Betty White is in a few scenes, and does her usual awesome old lady act. Also, any movie that has Hall & Oates performing is pretty badass just from their shear level of awesomeness. I didn't expect much from this, and only got it because I thought Emily would enjoy it. But, I was pleasantly surprised by how entertaining this simple chick comedy was.

The first time I reviewed this, I was a little harsh. Upon subsequent viewings, I've come to enjoy it despite its flaws. A decent premise for a comedy, loaded with a good cast (including the combined hotness of Odette Yustman and Kristen Bell!). But the film doesn't quite live... read more up to the sum of its parts. There are several sequences I'm sure the filmmakers thought were absolutely HILARIOUS... but they weren't. The dance rehearsal dance-off, the entire rehearsal dinner toast, any scene with Betty White, a lot of unnecessary slapstick.... Those bits just fall flat, yet go on forever. I enjoyed the movie, but it was trying way too hard in parts.

Unfortunately, it was another financial flop from Kristen Bell. As much as I want her to break through and be a star, I'm not sure how many more chances she'll get to pick a worthwhile starring project.

Light hearted, frequently amusing, and fun chick flick. Definitely chock full of familiar faces. Not an academy award winner, but enough silliness, romance, and charm in the right places to make this enjoyable.

Cast: Kristen Bell, Jamie Lee Curtis, Sigourney Weaver, Odette Yustman, Victor Garber, Betty White, James Wolk, Kristin Chenoweth, Sean Wing, Patrick Duffy

    Director: Andy Fickman

Summary: History -- make that high school -- may repeat itself when Marni (Kristen Bell) lear... read morens that Joanna (Odette Yustman), the mean girl from her past, is set to be her sister-in-law. Before the wedding bells toll, Marni must show her brother that a tiger doesn't change its stripes. On Marni's side is her mother (Jamie Lee Curtis), while Joanna's backed by her wealthy aunt (Sigourney Weaver).

My Thoughts: "The only one I found funny in this movie was the great Betty White. Sadly she doesn't get as much screen time as I would have liked. Considering the cast you would think the film would be quite funny. Not so much the case here. I found it to be more cheesy then funny. The acting was actually good, but that's not surprising since you have some really well known great actor's in this film. Unfortunately it's the story and direction that makes this film fall flat."

Hilarious and an adorable movie. Kristen Bell has always been a fave of mine :) Odette, Jamie, Sigourney & Betty had great performances as well :) Definitely watch this one :)

Malicious, but turned out pretty cute.. after I hated the whole thing. I could relate to the whole high school bully thing. This movie has some laugh out loud parts. Worth a watch.
