    Looking at Chan-wook Park's filmography this compilation stands out. Turns out it's for National Human Rights or whatever but I was only interested in how creative some of the visions of these participating directors are. The individual shorts are good as stand-alone films, the a... read morenthology gets colorless by the time the third or fourth short rolls in (I.e. the fun is sapped out of what you're watching when you realize this film is supposed to make you feel guilty). The shorts didn't communicate their issues effectively but as a whole you get subtle hints - and what's the point of crafting in the first place if the message is to be eluded by some? An interesting 'perspective' angle unites the shorts and I GUESS I feel a little bit better about my life because none of this moralism will do any good to misanthropes. Speaking of which, Park's short, which is the last, is a rather odd addition - humanistic and all - among his films. Flixster synopsis explains the themes well.
