    I generally like Korean films, but I have to say, this one was pretty weak.
    The characters did not ring true at all - especially the "player" main guy - he changed his ways much too quickly.
    Though it is pleasant enough viewing, it soon turns sad and that to me also rang untrue ... read moreand manipulative. Still better than some of the trashier US films, but only just. I guess is okay as a weekly rental or movie to watch on tv.

    Sloppy half-assed overdone melodrama with great cinematography of beautiful backdrops. This one tries to do ...ing, but one better. It starts out as a terrible lighthearted comedy that's just a little too silly for what's to come. Then the film transitions into tragedy, but only ... read morethe parting moments of the film are even remotely effective and only due to the performance of Ji-Woo Choi.

    Outside of that, this one is a bit of a mish-mash. It's like they had a great simple formula and some good actors and they just shanked it. I honestly think it takes Koreans at least two hours to tell a story... this film felt rushed and sloppy.

    The most common complaint I hear is that Korean films are too long... They tend to have several different endings and they don't know when to end. This one was pretty tight at 105 minutes, but I think they just need some practice making them good as well as short.

    The best thing I can say for this film is that the DVD presentation is pretty nice. The packaging anyway. The content is merely okay... you might want to look elsewhere for your k-drama.

    Heartwarming movie. Choi Ji Woo is fantastic (though I'm biased since she's my number 2!). She fits perfectly in this tragic role.
