Paul Bettany plays a likable enough character in this light romantic comedy. There's not much tennis involved considering its about two tennis players at Wimbledon, which is fine by me as I'm not the biggest tennis fan but the usually quite capable supporting cast were a bit wood... read more

Once was my favorite movie all the time... They got the perfect match, perfect story, and perfect ending too.... But even now this movie isn't my #1 favorite movie anymore, I still love to watch it again and again without being bored...

I accually really enjoyed this movie! JAME MCAVOY muahahaha! lol he was great. I really wish that Paul Bettany would do more movies. He can do romantic comedy to drama like the Davinci Code. I was also pleasantly surprised to see Sam Neil in this movie as well!.

i watched this film in flashes, mostly because it wasnt interesting enough to keep me. it had some redeeming pieces to the story but ultimately it was an insignificant film with a lead female character that wasnt likeable.

A pleasant enough entertainment at a time when movies either pleasant or entertaining are in short supply. Full Review

There's no hiding a hokey love story that undercuts the picture's compelling tennis scenes. Full Review
Not an ace, just a let, barely getting over the net to give its stars another serve and a chance to move into the next scene. But you won't mind watching them play out the point. Full Review
