It is an "ultimate" hip-hop 5 elements movie, but it is very forced at times. Still, classic and needs to be seen from anyone who likes film or music.

after you listen to rakim on a rocky mountain top, you NEED to witness this movie..pure hip hop..sigh..the bronx was so desolate and i grew up in that trash can..

really fun, if only for the scene where grandmster flash is mixing in the kitchen! a great view of early hip-hop and some pretty awesome graffiti as well.
