Not the adaptation of Jack London?s classic but not bad. Not as schmaltzy as it could have been considering it was a Disney film.

White fang, the little wolf dog puppy ended up going through different owners after his mother was shot. From a Working dog at an Indian Tribe to a Fighitng Dog at a Fighting dog arena, to the arms of a man who loved White Fang most.

(1991 Director: Randal Kleiser) One of my true favorites! Huge fan of this book' s author, Jack London. Actor Klaus Maria Brandeur (Baron Blixen-Out of Africa) & Ethan Hawke (Snow Falling on Cedars) are superb!
Critic Reviews

The movie is magnificently photographed on location. The performances are authentic and understated, and Brandauer makes a convincing veteran prospector, part hard-bitten, part dreamer. Full Review

A perennial family favourite is given the Disney treatment, complete with soaring orchestral score and a sheen of sentimentality that all but masks the more serious undertones of the original. Full Review
Despite moments of bravura and shameless tugs at the heart-strings, the film simply meanders towards a resolution. What's Brandauer doing here? Full Review
