What boosts VICKY CRISTINA BARCELONA from being a sappy, shoddy romance is the tour de force performance from Penà (C)lope Cruz. Cruz portrays Maria Elena, a ruthless, suicidal shrew. Though only supporting to the plot, when she delivers her role, we are instantly attetive to her... read more

Vicky Cristina Barcelona is a rueful comedy about two young American women who savor many Continental delicacies.
A bittersweet meditation on art and passion and on love in its many guises. Full Review
As exhilarating, captivating and enjoyable as a summer romance in an exotic city. Full Review
