A classic and remarkable movie. Robert's portrayal of a dedicated journalist has been an encouragement to others in similar situations. Yes, I don't fear for my career.

I love this movie it is one of my all time favorites. It starts out with a desperate reporter trying to make it in the biz, then a handsome man who knows the ropes, helps her accomplish her goals and makes her #1 in the newtwork. Must see it to follow the love story .

Critic Reviews
Glitz! Glamour! Love! TV news ethics? Full Review
A perfectly respectable effort, but with all the talent involved it could have been better.
Bland TV expose loosely based on the life of Jessica Savitch
Final proof that "based on actual events" means absolutely nothing.
There is no real sexual tension between [Pfeiffer and Redford] from the get-go, so when they finally do get together, it feels forced, ungenuine. Full Review
It doesn't get anymore romantic than this
Serious flick that feels more like a satire of a Robert Redford film.
Love story about two soul-mates who are willing to do whatever it takes to enable the other to shine. Full Review
