A waste of time movie but entertaining enough to watch on TV at 1 in the morning. It should have been a made for TV anyway.

unfortunately, throwing a bunch of plots together doesn't make a whole. and everything that it copies from other movies, has been done before and better.

This was very funny. Cannon is hysterical in any part he plays. He excels in this as the spunky younger undercover cop/ high school student.

Kind of a waste of life, but Nick is pretty goodlooking so if your a Nick fan, knock yourself out. If not, then I definitely don't recommend it.

Nick Cannon is the black Frankie Muniz, a no-talent kid who somehow falls ass-backwards into staring roles of usually lame movies.

An interesting premise with some great action and funny moments between Nick Cannon and Cheech Marin. If anything, it was fun watching this just to gawk at Roselyn and Kelly!

This movie was a surprisingly good one. Where teenagers act like actual teenagers. Not Shakespeare but definately an enjoyable movie.
Critic Reviews
This is one of those movies where at the end of the year you'll say, 'Underclassman, what was that about? I don't even remember it.' Full Review
Less an original product than a shoddy tribute to other mediocre cop movies. Full Review
If it weren't for the racist and puerile humour and the general laziness of the production, you could almost understand a movie like Underclassman. And maybe even forgive it. Full Review
The film is of little use to anyone except casting directors, fixed on selling a performer rather than telling a story. Full Review
This feeble Beverly Hills Cop knockoff will give audiences burned repeatedly by crummy movies this summer yet another reason to avoid multiplexes for the Labor Day weekend.
It's off to detention for Underclassman, a remedial comedy for idiots. Full Review
Underclassman is squarely aimed at a teen audience, but will be best appreciated by those who have never seen a TV cop show or, better yet, never attended school.
It gets a failing grade even by the low standards of late-August Hollywood releases. Full Review
Thanks to his charm and wit, Cannon's character eventually finds himself in with the school's in crowd, but his movie runs out of fresh ideas in the first 15 of its 95 minutes.
