A woman finds herself attempting to foil one office romance while debating if she should take a chance on another in this romantic comedy. Lucy Kelton (Sandra Bullock) is a top-flight attorney who has... read more read more... risen to the position of Chief Legal Counsel for one of New York's leading commercial real estate firms, the Wade Corporation. However, Lucy's job has one significant drawback -- George Wade (Hugh Grant), the eccentric and remarkably self-centered head of the firm. George seems entirely incapable of making a decision without Lucy's advice, whether it actually involves a legal matter or not, and while she's fond of George, being at his beck and call 24 hours a day has brought her to the end of her rope. In a moment of anger, Lucy gives her two weeks notice, and George reluctantly accepts, under one condition -- Lucy has to hire her own replacement. After extensive research, Lucy picks June Carter (Alicia Witt), a Harvard Law graduate determined to make a career for herself. Lucy soon begins to suspect, however, that June plans to hasten her rise up the corporate ladder by winning George's hand, leaving Lucy to wonder if she should warn George about his beautiful but calculating new attorney -- and whether she should tell George that she has finally realized she's in love with him. Two Weeks Notice was written and directed by Marc Lawrence, who had previously scripted two other box-office hits for Sandra Bullock: Miss Congeniality and Forces of Nature. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi

Nice chemistry between Hugh Grant and Sandra Bullock. I like the relationship between Bullock's character and her parents; how she couldn't escape the noose, er, I mean, the umbilical cord. I like the message: you can do a lot of good with a vision and a lot of money. I wish ... read moreGrand and Bullock would do more together because their quirky styles really gel, in my opinion.

Hugh plays an impossible boss. Good movie if you don't want to think too much.

It was nice to see Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant teamed up together in a movie and the fact that they did well in this movie was relieving... It's funny, I really like Sandra Bullock but I can't think of one film she's been in that hasn't been crap. Grant isn't as hateful as he has been but there really isn't much to write home about here!

this hanky is very nearly clean...

I didn't expected this to be that much funny but I was pleasantly surprised. The starting proved that this movie was going to be hilarious and extremely entertaining. You'll get to see Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant's childhoo... read mored pictures (if you're wondering what your favorite stars look like). Even though I didn't like them as a romantic couple, I did liked how Sandra fell in an embarrassing situations and Grant take that lightly and help.

I'll admit, I've seen too many romantic comedies lately. They're not my type of movies but surprisingly I've enjoyed some of them. 'Two Weeks Notice' was a decent flick with a stereotypical storyline.

Hugh Grant and Sandra Bullock know how to star in romcoms. I haven't seen for ... read moreexample Grant in any other genre movies than this. Have you? Once again, he is a phlegmatic guy who takes life easy. Bullock is... Bullock but this is the first time that I've seen her include toilet humor in her movies. Necessary? Perhaps not but it happens to be one of the best segments in the movie.

The chemistry between the two is good but the characters that I liked most was Bullock's characters parents. Dana Ivey and Robert Klein are actors that you'll probably recognize by look but their names can be a bit unfamiliar.

The story then? I'm pretty sure that you know what the end result is so why bother telling you a synopsis of the movie. What I can say is, that the movie is funny, some scenes are in fact hilarious as hell and most importantly, the actors seem to enjoy them selves on the screen. Recommended for an easy romantic night.

Straight forward Rom-com with a few chuckles. One for Sandra Bullock or Hugh Grant fans mainly.

Should be around 2.75-to 2.8. Hugh Grant is great in romantic comedies and Sandra Bullock is enjoyable. Besides the leads, the movie isn't anything special.

This is the kind of movie where the big scene is a man shot out of a cannon into a vat of ice cream.

Instead of using George and Lucy's most obvious differences to ignite sparks, Lawrence desperately looks elsewhere, seizing on George's haplessness and Lucy's personality tics. Full Review
