Surprised this isn't better known, although it does seem to have been a straight to DVD release. After seeing a trailer I gave it a whirl. It is extremely gory, bloody, violent and full of torture in the same vein, pardon the pun, as Hostel. The overall story is similar and kinda... read more a mix of that and Turistas. A group of American wrestlers on a trip to Eastern Europe miss the rest of their group and need to take the train to meet up with them in the next city. So this will well and truly keep the gore fans happy. Overall it's an ok horror film if nothing new or different.

Similar to Turistas and Midnight Meat Train but where Turistas was a thriller and MMT was a silly CGd mess, Train is a full-blown horror movie featuring some really gruesome, squeamish scenes, suspense and a satisfying climax that too many films are lacking these days.

    Basically "Hostel" on wheels.

For Gods sake if you want to watch a film with gore and horror look for one that ISNT this rubbish. There are so many better movies that are purposely made for that reason. This film didnt know what the hell it was supposed to be...its trying to be a very poor mix of Saw and Host... read moreeland failed miserably........

Train was suppose to be a remake of Terror Train ,but i don't think is the case. This film looks more like a sequel of Hostel.Train is fast pace, violent, very bloody & gory.Nothing special about the script, predictable but entertaining & not boring,it gets down to business from begi... read morenning to end...it gets bloody!

Alex (Thora Birch) and her friends, after a night of partying, miss the early morning train ride to Ukraine where they were supposed to compete in an international wrestling meet. While their head coach is pissed off at being unable to get the next ride, a woman offers them to hi... read moretch in a train which would pass by their destination. The group agrees but little did they know that the train ride could be the last they take since the people who run it are a group of underground organ harvesters who take tourists as their unwilling organ donors.

I haven't seen a movie as gory as this one since The Hills Have Eyes 2, and I guarantee it is a lot more gory. The first 3 minutes alone will make you cringe. It's not really as original as I hoped since it looks a lot like Hostel and Turistas, but still it is an enjoyable train ride if you like to see blood, body parts and gore in almost every scene.

Not a remake of ¨Terror Train¨ as it was intended to be, it is like a new version/sequel of ¨Turistas¨ but on a train and in this case the present movie is better. ¨The gore scenes you can bearly make out whats going on, it was too dark.

Hmmn, yeah, so a portion of a wrestling team misses their train to the next match while traveling Eastern Europe. A kind stranger offers to help them find passage on the train she's taking, as it conveniently passes through their destination, and the next thing we know, our wres... read moretlers are being killed and mutilated in gruesome ways while still alive.

It's reminiscent of things like Hostel, though the reasoning for the killings are completely different this time around, but it's not enough to really recommend it.

Very paint by numbers gore flick, a rental if you're into that sort of thing.

Just another horror gore fest, this time it?s set on a train and once again it?s in Eastern Europe. Thora Birch does a good job at least, but it has no point or direction and the plot is too familiar.

Upon the opening credits, we witness a butcher surgically cutting off the skin of a dead man. In the span of two and half minutes we see the chopped limbs of many victims which begins the story of Train. Four American wrestlers are invited to a rave by one of their opponen... read morets. They sneak out of their hotel and bump into their assistant coach who gladly goes with them, upon a little blackmail by one of the wrestlers in Thora Birch. They end up staying all night and miss the train to Ukraine for their next match. They stumble upon their head coach at the station who verbally shouts at them, which prompts him to look for another train. They get approached by a woman who says her train would take them to Ukraine, so they gratefully agree and board. What they don't know is that this is no ordinary train and these are no ordinary passengers. They've fallen aboard a train, that holds doctors that prey on tourists and takes their organs to sell to the passengers who are actually patients. Train has some of the goriest scenes that capture every aspect of terror, torture and downright sadistic pleasure. At first I couldn't get into Thora Birch, but she puts on a impressive role halfway into the film that has me second guessing my opinion on her. Train offers the suspense and the hopeless feeling of knowing that you will never escape the horror that surrounds you. Something I take great pride in feeling when I watch a film such as this.
