April 25, 2010fb733768972Stupid! The TV show can be quite funny, but the movie has failed. You can't take give a budget to a show that has absolutely no budget, it just doesn't work! Completely unfunny, but at least they tried to have a better story than the show!

It was basically an extended episode, but there was a lot of funny stuff here. The plot was meaingless and uneccesary, but it didn't matter too much. I think you need to be a fan already to enjoy this, though.

December 20, 2010fb1619601747It's too much like the television series, alienating people not already familiar with its crude humor.

I went in HOPING it would be 2/3 as good as the show since often TV based movies are a letdown, but this was terrific.

Co-writer/director Mike Clattenburg is right on target with his trio of inept trailer-park criminals. Full Review
Boys functions swimmingly as both a bigscreen inflation of smallscreen icons and a fairly hilarious stand-alone. Full Review
Canada may have a better health care system than ours, but the popularity of the TV show Trailer Park Boys proves that when it comes to low-brow entertainment, they can go lower than Jerry Springer. Full Review
Trailer Park Boys: The Movie is like a feature-length version of the television sitcom My Name Is Earl, only Canadian -- and not funny. Full Review
I'm sure the pot-laced antics of these trashy dudes are, like, totally hilarious on Canadian TV, but they don't translate well to America or the big screen. Full Review
The movie falls apart at the centre. Where it works, brilliantly on occasion, is at the edges. Full Review
A faithful and funny, entirely scripted, feature-length film version of the videotaped and improvised mockumentary series. Full Review
Unfortunately even the most loveable rogues can outstay their welcome; this is a television idea that doesn't go the distance. Full Review
