Booted from the hoosegow just days before the eagerly anticipated guards-versus-inmates ball hockey championship, Ricky (Rob Wells), Julian (John Paul Tremblay), and Bubbles (Mike Smith) hatch a plan ... read more read more...to pull off the biggest heist of their criminal careers as Sunnyvale Trailer Park's most incompetent criminals make their way to the big screen. Christened "The Big Dirty," the trio's ambitious plan to steal large quantities of untraceable change soon hits a hitch when sidetracked Ricky prepares to make the ultimate commitment to longtime girlfriend Lucy and Julian crosses her new boss with disastrous results. It seems that in addition to having her bust size upgraded while the trio was incarcerated, Lucy also landed a job working at the nearby gentleman's club. When Julian goes to the club and falls for shapely dancer Wanda, temperamental proprietor Sonny quickly loses his cool. With the day of the Big Dirty fast approaching, the boys do their best to train hair-brained criminal assistants Cory and Trevor in the fine art of the heist. Of course, anyone who knows the Trailer Park Boys knows well that even their most foolproof plans have a way of springing a leak, and somewhere between the helicopter chase, the shoot-out, and the booze-soaked game of Sunnyvale Chicken waged against trailer park supervisor Mr. Lahey and his cheeseburger-chomping assistant, Randy, everything seems to just fall apart. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Countdown To Liquor day one terrific comedy film. This is by far one of the funniest and best Canadian films out there. Countdown To Liquor Day is a hilarious film from start to finish. This film far superior than the first film, which was also good, but lacked a little something. Whatever it was, the filmmakers found what was missing, and were able to capture all the debauchery of the Trailer Park Boys in this more than average sequel.

Stupid! The TV show can be quite funny, but the movie has failed. You can't take give a budget to a show that has absolutely no budget, it just doesn't work! Completely unfunny, but at least they tried to have a better story than the show!

It was basically an extended episode, but there was a lot of funny stuff here. The plot was meaingless and uneccesary, but it didn't matter too much. I think you need to be a fan already to enjoy this, though.

It's too much like the television series, alienating people not already familiar with its crude humor.

I went in HOPING it would be 2/3 as good as the show since often TV based movies are a letdown, but this was terrific.

This is the second movie based off of the popular Canadian television show the Trailer Park Boys. As a fan of the show this is a good send off to the show... like the Sex in the City Movie was for that show (I would imagine). Boys functions swimmingly as both a bigscreen inflation of smallscreen icons and a fairly hilarious stand-alone. Full Review

Canada may have a better health care system than ours, but the popularity of the TV show Trailer Park Boys proves that when it comes to low-brow entertainment, they can go lower than Jerry Springer. Full Review

Trailer Park Boys: The Movie is like a feature-length version of the television sitcom My Name Is Earl, only Canadian -- and not funny. Full Review

I'm sure the pot-laced antics of these trashy dudes are, like, totally hilarious on Canadian TV, but they don't translate well to America or the big screen. Full Review

The movie falls apart at the centre. Where it works, brilliantly on occasion, is at the edges. Full Review
