From blueprint design and construction in Ireland, to the ill-fated maiden voyage and the lasting legacy of Titanic's fateful sinking, no detail has been neglected in the film's meticulous description of events. Part 1, "The Death of a Dream," builds dramatic momentum to the ship's collision with an iceberg in the freezing North Atlantic, including detailed accounts of the agonizing two-hour sinking and the rescue of survivors. Part 2, "The Legend Lives On," explores the investigation into Titanic's sinking, the impact on later ship design and the dramatic rediscovery of Titanic's ghostly remains on the ocean floor. Parts 1 and 2 include abundant interviews with such noted Titanic authorities as Don Lynch and Ken Marschall (consultants on the blockbuster movie Titanic), and several Titanic survivors who have since passed away.     A&E's Titanic is the most fascinating and intricate Titanic documentary ever made. Featuring an impressive number of historians, experts, and survivors, the disaster is discussed and explored in vivid detail. Everything from the social forces that inspired the Titanic's creatio... read moren, to the controversy over the savaging of Titanic artifacts is covered. One of the aspects that makes this documentary so compelling and captivating are the numerous personal memoirs and accounts used to describe the experiences of those involved; including those of passengers, crew, reporters, and others. David McCallum gives an elegant narration and is joined by a number of talented voice actors, who all get superb performances. Additionally, a hauntingly beautiful score is used to enhance the mood and tone of the film. Never has a more complete and moving account of the Titanic disaster been told than in A&E's Titanic.

    This is a movie that i thought was well acting and i enjoyed. I love it and it was so sad that it made me cry.

    this movie is kinda funny[not really though only wen rose flicks the guy off lol:p] its a dramatic movie with great acting! this movie is suspensful and fantastic! one of my fav's!:p
