Most certainly not an under done chick flick. It's premise suggests ultra feminism and typically mean hearted humour but Thelma and Louise is actually intelligent, entertaining, gripping and ambitious to challenge one's emotions.

For the longest time I passed up on Thelma & Louise for the stupid fact that I thought it would be a "chick flick". Boy was I wrong. Thelma & Louise is a stellar crime film with a great cast. I won't get into detail about the plot because this is one of those films of which every... read more

Even those who don't rally to pic's fed-up feminist outcry will take to its comedy, momentum and dazzling visuals. Full Review
What sets Thelma & Louise aside from the great central tradition of the road picture is that the heroes are women this time. Full Review
Their adventures, while tinged with the fatalism that attends any crime spree, have the thrilling, life-affirming energy for which the best road movies are remembered. Full Review
This wincingly funny, pertinent and heartbreaking road movie means to get under your skin, and it does.
An exhilarating vehicle for Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon, it spins its wheels in a giddy sort of way, then puts the pedal to the mettle, lays rubber and fairly takes wing. Full Review
Thelma & Louise may look like just another girl-buddy road picture. But in director Ridley Scott's hands, it's propulsively more. Full Review
Thelma & Louise encounter representatives of different types of maleness from barroom skirt chaser and leering truck driver to the swaggering young hustler (a star-is-born Brad Pitt) who delivers Thel... Full Review
An exciting slice of action cinema, a poignant drama, a snarky southern-fried comedy and a knockout road picture. Full Review
