A wonderful combination of musical, biography, and dark fairy tales. This was originally shot for Cinerama where the audience was facing three screens, it may look a little odd unless they've updated the picture from the one I have on LaserDisc.

My mother first saw this film in Hawaii in a theatre that wrapped around them giving the village a 3-D effect.
