The wizardry of Jim Henson's Creature Shop and a superbly over-the-top performance by Angelica Huston gives The Witches a good deal of charm and enjoyment. Full Review
Strange and scary enough to fascinate parents and offspring alike. Full Review
As in his best films, here Mr. Roeg is a master of capturing the slightly off kilter sense of an apparently normal world. His camera is unobtrusive, and then suddenly it tilts a bit to jolt. Full Review
The best thing about Nicolas Roeg's film of Dahl's book The Witches is its dark vision. Full Review
In this extended good time of a fairy tale, there's something for everyone. Full Review
A wickedly funny final bow for Muppeteer Jim Henson. Full Review
Don't miss Anjelica Huston's deliciously vile transformation from beauty to beast. And don't miss this film. Full Review
Deliciously cruel to children, Roeg remains true to Dahl's underlying sense of real horror. Full Review
