Eh... not as cracked up as I thought it would be. The premise is better than the movie itself.

I liked it. Mind you, I have not read the book. It is hard not to feel for Clare who loves a guy who trips in and out of her life - sometimes older, sometimes younger. One of the failings though is that it feels like the times he time travels away from Clare's life are set up ... read more

I did not think I would like this movie as much as I did as I found the novel to be dry and very confusing, but Eric Bana was wonderful in it and even Rachel McAdams did not do entirely unwell in it. A definite chick flick, void of much more, the depth of story is fascinating eve... read more

It was okay, it could've been better. The plot was very confusing, very long, and my mind was lost trying to take all this ib, but the romance was beautiful. The cast was good, I espically loved Racheal McAdams, she was very good. The story was not vety good, the cast was good... read more

Surprisely, touching and heartbreaking love story. The sweet scene I ever see Henry (Eric Bana) travels to the future and meets his lovely 10-year-old daughter Alba (amazing Hailey McCann). He gazes upon Alba with such love when she says, "I love you Daddy!".
Bana shows his abil... read more -

For a film based on a book this is very good. As I haven't read the book before I feel like I have the whole picture from this film however that opinion might change after reading the book. It included enough for me to understand what was going on. Very emotional and difficult to... read more

Maybe I'm going soft in my old age but I thought The Time Traveler's Wife was really good. It's nice to have a scf-fi film without a load of chasing around, explosions, magic swords etc. I've not read the book, so I can't pass comment on whether it is a good adaptation but it has... read more

I'm over the moon about this movie, which smooths out the psychological dissonances in Audrey Niffenegger's fine novel but is still an emotional workout. Full Review
Some fans of the book might enjoy seeing these two soul mates brought to life on the big screen, but for everyone else the interpretation seems forced and at times inconsistent. Full Review
I thought really very little in the film worked. Full Review
Long spans of time pass between lines of dialogue, many of which seem to have been inexpertly translated from a foreign language so that they almost make sense but not quite. Full Review
The emotions and crises feel pre-sanded, smooth to the point of blandness. The transitional disappearances are routine. Full Review
It's hard to live in stolen moments, but trying to find a few enjoyable ones in The Time Traveler's Wife is nearly impossible. Full Review
Yet where there should be heat, a cold wind blows. Full Review
A Twilight Zone premise written like a Mariah Carey song, The Time Traveler's Wife is destined for a warm welcome on an obscure cable network. The Spinster Movie Station? The Lonely Hearts Channel? Full Review
