Great sights and sounds of South America made in this Walt Disney colourful, sweetly nostalgic, forties flavoured travelogue which highlights some of the more exotic cities of Latin America with my favourite Disney cartoon character, Donald Duck with Joe Carioca and Panchito the ... read more

Cute movie - watched it a couple of years ago on a date, so it has some strange connotations. Typical Disney fluff.

Number 2 From Compilation era
The animation is a bit more interesting then the previous film, and it does have it's fun moments throughout.
It's hard to give this era of films a long thorough review because when it comes down to it some shorts were fun and others weren't.

Wacky, creative, hyper-active, ambitious, schizophrenic The Three Caballeros is a more energetic and entertaining film than it's predecessor Saludos Amigos. A few animated shorts (which have little to do with the overall story, or lack there of) are present but the film largely ... read more

A dazzling display of early Disney animation and colour that takes Donald on one of his most grand adventures to date. The film is definitely one of Disney's most unique, daring, educational, and enjoyable films. It holds a neat collection of Spanish musical numbers and interes... read more

"The Three Caballeros" is a fun, classic Disney cartoon... once you survive the first 1/2-hour. As is the case with "Saludos Amigos," much of this geography lesson feels very disjointed as the writers try to string together several segments about South America. The biggest prob... read more

Kind of random. Great animation, especially for the times but horrible stereotypical representation of culture. It's just Donald Duck chasing girls in foreign countries, another really bad message.

A brilliant hodgepodge of Mr. Disney's illustrative art-a literal spinwheel of image, color and music which tumbles at you with explosive surprise. Full Review
No other Disney feature achieved this level of exuberant abstraction, or displayed the same sheer pleasure in the magic of the animator's art. Full Review
By far the strangest feature-length movie in the history of the Walt Disney Company, with virtually every new minute bringing something more insanely creative than the last. Full Review
This is one of the most dazzling achievements of the cartoon genre. Full Review
The two films are as artistically astonishing as they are culturally clueless. Full Review
The menu buttons are shaped like sombreros. I trust I needn't say more. Full Review
A wonderful blending of live action, animation and good South American music.
Particularly notable is the animated train travelling through a garden of real flowers. Full Review
