Very well acted, it?s a well written story and both leads to a great job. I did find it a bit talky and slow moving at times, but it?s still quite enjoyable.

I never liked Russell Crowe until I saw this movie! Well, I still don't like him much, his movies are usually boring, but this one was great! One of my favorite gay movies.

Critic Reviews
A second look reveals everything wrong with the movie, but on first pass, it's well-performed and enjoyably crafted.
An excellent Aussie effort with ripper performances from Crowe and Thompson
Effective translation of a theatre piece. Russell Crowe's best performance.
Plumbs the depths of a loyal and loving relationship between a father and son. Full Review
