Good thriller with interesting implications on the justice system. From what I remember, the poster is a bit misleading by having Douglas armed and ready with a gun. He is a judge! The movie consists of mostly psychological thrills.

One of the most realistic movies ever made depicting internal conflicts in the practice the Law in the U.S. It also illustrates the core foundation and illustrates why we have the safeguards we have in the U.S. Consitution...awesome....this was Michael Douglas at his best...

Conspiracy abounds in this early Michael Douglas far fetcher.
A couple of great chases, but it doesn't quite live up to its intriguing premise.
The Star Chamber is an intense, thought-provoking, great-looking action-packed thriller. Sadly overlooked in theaters, this is truly an '80s buried treasure.
While the movie is set in L.A., the rules of justice appear exaggerated to the point where the film seems to be taking place in a different country, but it doesn't really matter. It would be great fun...
