Marty (Mike Binder) is a building contractor who is married to a b... read more read more...eautiful woman named Laura (Mariel Hemingway). While reasonably happy in his marriage, Marty has always had a fantasy about having a menage a trois, and when he starts to feel his sex life with Laura is getting stale, he suggests they bring in another woman and give it a try. Laura is reluctant at first, but Marty refuses to drop the subject and eventually she relents, and a second woman is introduced to the bedroom. However, Marty is soon too tired to continue with the fun, and Laura and her new friend go on without him. While she's coy about it at first, it quickly becomes obvious Laura enjoys adding another woman to the mix a lot more than Marty does, and she starts aggressively pursuing new female companions. While Laura doesn't mind if Marty joins in, she and her partners seems to be enjoying themselves enough that's he feels like a fifth wheel, since Laura seems to have much clearer ideas about female eroticism than he does. Mike Binder wrote and directed The Sex Monster, as well as playing the male lead; Stephen Baldwin also appears in a supporting role.     A very odd look at how what you want may not be what you need. A hiliarious cast and a funny story makes this low budget comedy interesting to watch. May not be for everyone but fans of this kind of sex comedies will surely enjoy watching it!!!!!!!!!!!!

    really funny! Mariel Hemmingway plays her character so well! this movie shows how getting exactly what you want can sometimes be a very bad thing!

    Funny funny funny! Ladies if you're man is always buggin' you to try a threesome then this movie is for the both of you. It shows how a man's nagging can totally backfire. I highly recommend this one. Ladies, don't watch it without your man.

    A movie all bicurious women should watch. At first, it appears the film will be misogynistic, but there's a nice twist at the end. Amusing but not exactly funny.

    Pretty funny movie... The idea of the wife becoming a lesbian sex fiend is totally awesome and is totally every single guys fear... personally i don't think there's enough TnA but it's still really really funny.
