I loved the show, but this was really stupid. The animation was only a little better than the show. The story was actually pretty good and gave a good backround of their past. I didn't hate this, but it wasn't very good.

Though most people would think of the powerpuff girls as a girl show it really wasn't and by far its one of the best cartoons on cartoon network. You don't have to be a kid to watch it. but heres my argument with the critics of rotten tomatoes, you give the powerpuff girls movie ... read more

A fun introduction to the crazy and sweet superheroines "The Powerpuff Girls"! It includes their origin story. It's great when they trash an entire city with their new powers. Their monkey adversary "Mojo Jojo" and his legion of other bad monkeys is hilarious. It's quite trippy. ... read more

A rather lovely family film that is more than just an extended episode. I manages to explore the depths of the characters and their motivations. However most importantly it kicks ass and rides up there with some of the better Superhero films of recent years.

I loved watching the power puff girls when I was younger and this movie is really fun, and has lots of cartoon violence with a really cool plot. -

A fun, cute little movie about how the Powerpuff Girls came to be. Anyone can enjoy it, but fans of the show (me) will enjoy it little more.

This is by no means a bad movie, and if you were a fan of the show, I recommend you pick it up. If not, well there's not too much new here except some better animation. There were a couple of scenes in this movie that did capture my interest here... one of which was an extra long... read more

The one thing this movie isn't is boring. It is very fast paced at a short time as well. The story is nothing new, even thoguh we get to see the origin of the Powerpuff Girls. It was kind of cute to watch though.

Even with its flaws, The Powerpuff Girls Movie offers cleverness and charm that are hard to come by in the summertime multiplex.
This is one freaky and annoying little film. Full Review
For the first two-thirds of this sparklingly inventive and artful, always fast and furious tale, kids will go happily along for the ride.

It's still a kick seeing the show's retro-cool, Hanna-Barbera-style animation blown up to 35 mm, even if The Powerpuff Girls Movie only plays like a long, slightly average episode. Full Review
84 minutes of rolling musical back beat and supercharged cartoon warfare. It's also, clearly, great fun. Full Review
This little film is so slovenly done, so primitive in technique, that it can't really be called animation. Full Review
