The Paper ended up being much better than I thought. It takes a boring subject like news and made it interesting and also showed me the inside work of a newspaper, but its also at times very weird and does not realize what it is.

Very good story about the sentencing of two kids from the ghetto and the controversy that accures in highly competitive newspaper editor's offices. Sounds boring when I say it like that but add consistant (early 90's) Keaton comedy and you've got a pretty good filc.

Sometimes it lets its wackiness run a little bit too free, but there's a lot of great stuff to love here.

Lots of big name stars... some not even listed here such as Jason Alexander from Seinfeld. Even with all this brilliant acting power in one movie, they could not salvage the lame writing and stupid plot.

An overwrought, hysterical drama about the newspaper business that doesn't begin to compare to Hollywood's classics of the genre (The Front Page). The film has an absurdly frantic pace but it's so rom... Full Review
One of Ron Howard's most underrated films.
A great ensemble cast
Not a bad view of the inner-workings at a daily
